Northland Volleyball Club was founded in the summer of 1993 by a team of four volleyball players looking to advance local volleyball opportunities. Over the next 17 years NVC would offer both summer and winter leagues, along with open gyms and many tournaments. During that time NVC's membership would grow to over 400 members.
In 2005 NVC decided to start a Juniors program in response to a lack of off season volleyball opportunities for area youth. Our first season consisted of 37 players on four teams. Over the next 5 seasons we would grow to over 100 players, 12 teams and coaching staff of 14.
In 2010 NVC decided to retire the adult portion of the club and focus solely on the Juniors program.
2010 was our best season on record, with 6 Silver Division Championships and 6 Gold Division Championships. NVC 18 Green won 4 Gold Division championships, including the North Country Region tournament.
Our mission at NVC is to provide a enjoyable, competitive environment to develop and enhance each players volleyball skills, with a strong emphasis on respect and sportsmanship.
